The team behind TenderEdge brings over a decade of combined experience in oil and gas procurement operations across the Gulf. We were not observers — we were embedded inside joint operations environments, working alongside the procurement teams who lived with these problems every day. TenderEdge is what we built when we ran out of patience with the tools available.
THE ORIGIN
The audit that changed everything.
A joint operations company called us in for a routine BI engagement. Their procurement team — 17 people managing 150+ contracts — was running on a shared Excel file. Not one file. Eleven files. Across six departments. With no single source of truth.
Within 24 hours of connecting to their data, we surfaced an 83% extension gap — 83% of contracts that needed follow-on tenders had none in progress. A tender had been stuck in technical evaluation for 1,456 days. No one had escalated it because no one had visibility that it was stuck.
That morning, we decided to build TenderEdge. Not as a feature of a BI platform — as a purpose-built intelligence layer for procurement operations.
